  • phpFox reCAPTCHA Plug-in
    This modification will replace the default phpFox Captcha found on the "sign up" and "contact us" form.

    What is reCAPTCHA?

    Quote:

    A CAPTCHA is a program that can tell whether its user is a human or a computer. You’ve probably seen them — colorful images with distorted text at the bottom of Web registration forms. CAPTCHAs are used by many websites to prevent abuse from "bots," or automated programs usually written to generate spam. No computer program can read distorted text as well as humans can, so bots cannot navigate sites protected by CAPTCHAs.

  • phpFox Flowplayer FLV Video Player
    If you are using the Video module you may notice we are using the JS FLV Media Player by default. Its a great player but is basic in functionality so a client suggested to give Flowplayer a try. I wanted to release this with the phpFox package however due to license restrictions we can’t until we have setup the proper license to distribute their package with ours. However before all that is completed a free plug-in can be released.

  • Case Insensitive Captcha
    Small hack to create a case insensitive Captcha.

  • Common Friends (Hook)
    With this version of that mod it uses the hook system introduced with v1.6.20 so in order to use this plug-in you will need that version installed. Decided to use that method to create the plug-in instead of creating it as a module so we can release an example of how to use the hook system.

    The “Common Friends” block will look similar to the “My Friends” block found on a users profile. For a better idea of how the mod looks check out the screen shot attached with this thread. The plug-in also includes a “View All” page where the user can view all the friends they have in common with the user they are viewing.

  • Only Admins/Staff can view who voted on polls
    This is a small mod if you would only like Admins or Staff to view who actually voted on polls. This might be handy as some users are reluctant to vote on a poll because the results are public. With this mod all is keep private from the public except for the lucky few Admins and or Staff members of your site. Note the actual results are still public, its the user names that are keep private.

  • U.S States/ZIP mode for other countries
    For those that want to get the “U.S. States/ZIP mode” to work with other countries you can try this mod.

  • Enable U.S. State/ZIP elements
    If you have the U.S. State/ZIP feature enabled you may notice that the HTML elements are disabled by default if the user does not select “United States” from the location drop down. The logic behind this is so users don’t select the country Sweden and then allow them to select a U.S. state.

  • Gallery - “Added By” mod
    Here is quick little mod I whipped up to add a “Added By: UserName” under a Gallery image when its viewed in public areas such as the “RECENT IMAGES” found in the index page, gallery section (including featured images) and when viewing a groups index page.
