v1.6 Release Schedule
We would like to publicly release our schedule for version 1.6. These dates are subject to revision, however we feel these release dates will be met.
- November 19, 2007 – v1.6 RC3
- December 3, 2007 – v1.6 RC4
- December 17, 2007 – v1.6 Stable
- December 21, 2007 – v1.6 Stable Build 2 (Reserved)
FlashChat and php121 will be dropped as our official live chat and instant messenger modules with the next release. We have instead implemented our own set of modules to replace these 3rd party plug-ins. Because of this recent change, support and official future development of these plug-ins will be dropped by phpFoX. However the plug-ins are marked “Open Source” so anyone can continue the development, update and support. FlashChat is not a free software, however all clients can still get their product free off charge from us. php121 is open source, however their newer versions require a fee; clients can continue downloading their software free off charge from us in the future.
